Who

Either nomiti or j depending on who’s asking, 28 year old lesbian idiot. The name nomiti is a shorthand for an MMO name I have, No Mitigation, a tag I picked up because I am a tank and that is a credible threat. The name j is a result of me coming up with a placeholder name for myself at age 16, and then never coming up with anything better. (I lowercase it because it just looks more correct, somehow?)

Why

Making a blog from scratch(ish) means forcing myself to both write and code, the two things I really need to do more of. I seemingly have an allergic reaction to categorizing anything I throw in here, but I’ll at least try to make it clear in the description what any given post is about.

Where

I tend to fuck off from social media, not for any particular reason or event, I just tend to notice that I have a little more self-loathing when I publicly stick to most modern sites for any length of time. I have made one exception, however; while I’m unsure if Bluesky will stay how it is, right now it’s not a place where I feel obligated to exist defensively, so I have a spot there with the same domain as this blog.
